Yr 7 to Yr 11 Beach Carnival – Monday, 11 December 2023

Northshore's first Beach Carnival!

It is with great excitement that Northshore’s first Beach Carnival is planned for Monday, 11 December!

This will be held at Waterfront Park, Alkimos (in front of Ocean’s 27) where students will get to participate in a range of activities in the water, on the beach, and on the grass. Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club and True North Youth will also be there keeping us safe and running a few activities.

As there are water-based activities, we require the attached permission form to be completed and returned by Monday, 4 December. A sausage sizzle lunch of $5 is available for pre-order (on the permission slip) with all proceeds going to Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club to support the work they do in our community.

Students can be dropped directly to Waterfront Park and sign-in at the Yellow Northshore Gazebo. Students can then be signed out and collected at 1:45pm from Waterfront Park, or 3:10 at Northshore CGS. If your child normally catches Transperth transport, there will be a bus available to take them to Waterfront Park from Northshore in the morning.

Please make sure your child has at least two water bottles, hat, sunscreen, and lunch if they are not ordering a sausage sizzle – Ocean’s 27 is not available/accessible to students for food or drinks.

Uniform: Students can wear their sports uniform (bumblebee shirt) and wear their bathers underneath.

Finally, please make sure you have given permission for your child to attend on Parent Lounge as this is an off-site event.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact student services.
