This term, our Pre-Primary classes embarked on an exciting Inquiry Journey that took their learning experiences beyond the classroom walls. With a focus on geography and exploring places and spaces, our young learners took a virtual trip to Paris, all from the comfort of their classroom. Through engaging in role-play activities, the children experienced planning and travelling via an airport, complete with creating their own passports.
Their destination was none other than a mini Olympic Games organised right here at school, allowing them to participate in a global event without leaving the ground. The children formed teams and designed colourful flags, torches, and medals, embracing the spirit of international unity and sportsmanship. This series of activities culminated in an awards ceremony, where participation and effort were celebrated, reinforcing the values of teamwork and collective achievement.
This term’s Inquiry Journey has been a wonderful opportunity for our Pre-Primary students to learn about the world in an imaginative and engaging way. It has enriched their understanding of geography and taught them valuable lessons in cooperation and the joys of learning together.
