Kindy and Pre-Primary Cross Country 2026

Courage, Community and Smiles All Around

On Tuesday, 16 June, our Kindy and Pre-Primary students took on their very own Cross Country course, and what a wonderful afternoon it was.

While the track may have looked short from the sidelines, it was a big adventure for our youngest students. With determination on their faces and smiles from ear to ear, they embraced the challenge and gave it their very best effort.

A special mention must go to every child who stepped up to the starting line and made their way to the finish line. The cheers from classmates, staff and families created a wonderful atmosphere and encouraged students every step of the way.

One of the highlights of the morning was seeing the care shown between friends. Some students held hands as they ran, others paused to encourage a classmate, and some crossed the finish line with the support of an Education Assistant or one of our fantastic Year 6 helpers. These moments were a beautiful reminder that Cross Country is about much more than running.

It was also lovely to see so many parents, grandparents and siblings gathered along the course. Their support helped make the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We are incredibly proud of our Kindy and Pre-Primary students. The morning was filled with courage, kindness and community spirit, and it was a joy to watch each child rise to the challenge in their own way.

Well done to all of our little runners on a fantastic Cross Country morning.
