Kindy and Pre-Primary Suitcase Circus Incursion

A Day of Wonder: Kindy and Pre-Primary Suitcase Circus Incursion

The Kindy and Pre-Primary students were treated to a fantastic incursion with the Suitcase Circus, and it was an experience they won’t soon forget! Joe, the charismatic performer, delighted the children with his humour, remarkable circus skills, and his unique suitcase drum set.

During the incursion, the children eagerly participated in a variety of circus activities including plate spinning, juggling, scarf catching, and twirling rings and hoops. These hands-on experiences not only brought smiles and laughter but also reinforced important lessons in perseverance, giving new things a go, and encouraging one another.

This lively performance beautifully complemented their inquiry into materials and movement. The children observed with wide eyes as balls soared through the air, plates spun atop sticks, scarves floated gently down, and hoops twirled in endless circles—all offering a captivating demonstration of how different objects move.

The show wrapped up with a grand finale: Joe riding a unicycle through the classrooms, much to the amazement and delight of everyone watching.

It was a joyful, laughter-filled experience that brought learning to life in the most exciting way!
