Exciting Highlights from the Primary Athletics Carnival
We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day for this year’s Primary Athletics Carnival! It was such a joy to see our students outside, giving their best effort in every event, cheering each other on and most importantly, having fun together.
The day was full of highlights. Djeran House took home the Spirit Cup with their incredible enthusiasm, while Makuru claimed the House Shield after an outstanding all-around performance. A big thank you goes to our staff and parents who came early to help with setup, and to Mr Swanby for his excellent coordination of the games, especially the much-loved Tug-O-War!
The Leaderball Challenge was a crowd favourite, with parents giving it their all in a close contest, but it was the Year 6s who took home the win!
Congratulations to all of our winners on the day, who will now go on to represent Northshore at the NIPSSA Invitational Athletics Challenge in October.
