Celebrating Student Excellence and Growth in Semester 1
On Wednesday, 30 July, we gathered as a school community to celebrate the achievements of our students at the Mid-Year Awards. This special occasion gave us the opportunity to pause and acknowledge the effort, dedication, and growth our students have shown throughout Semester 1.
A range of awards were presented, including:
- Academic Awards – recognising one student per year group in each subject area.
- The Growth Award – celebrating students who have shown remarkable improvement and perseverance in their learning.
- The Citizenship Award – honouring those who live out Northshore’s values of Truth, Wisdom, Courage and Community in their everyday lives.
Although only a small number of students were named as recipients, many others came very close. We are proud of every student for the hard work they have invested in their learning so far this year. These awards are a wonderful reminder that effort and perseverance make a real difference, and we look forward to celebrating again at the End-of-Year Awards.
