Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 Students Gain Valuable Workplace Experience

Congratulations to our Year 10 students who recently completed their first Work Experience placement. This important opportunity allowed students to step into real workplace environments, gain practical skills and explore potential future career pathways.

Throughout the week, students experienced a diverse range of industries including medical, engineering, construction, mechanical, retail, hospitality, welding, electrical, finance, hairdressing, teaching, animal care and many more. These experiences provided valuable insight into the world of work while helping students build confidence, develop new skills and discover areas of interest.

It was wonderful to see our students embrace new challenges, step outside their comfort zones and represent Northshore with maturity and pride. We have received fantastic feedback from host employers, who highlighted our students’ positive attitudes, professionalism, willingness to learn and ability to show initiative.
