Year 7 Camp – Busselton Baptist Camping Centre
During Week 8, our Year 7 students enjoyed an amazing three-night camp at Busselton Baptist Camping Centre. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to connect, build friendships and develop teamwork skills through a range of fun activities.
At Forest Adventures in Busselton, students took on the high ropes course, worked through team-building puzzles and tried their hand at archery. We also visited the Yallingup Maze, where tricky puzzles, mini-golf and the maze tested their resilience and perseverance in the hot sun.
Daily swims at the nearby beach were a highlight, as was our stop at Simmo’s Ice Creamery for a well-earned treat. Everyone enjoyed the excellent meals prepared by our camp cook, Mr Dias.
A big thank you to all the staff who made the camp possible: Mr Speldewinde, Miss Hanna, Mr Symons, Mrs Neamtu, and Mrs Palmer. Special thanks to our chaplains, Mr Swanby and Lauren, for providing pastoral care, and an extra big thank you to Mr Swanby for safely driving the bus.
It was a wonderful few days filled with growth, laughter and lasting memories.
Mr P
