Primary Students Make a Splash for a Great Cause
On Tuesday, 2 December, our Primary School students traded textbooks for water toys as they splished and splashed their way through one of the most anticipated days of the year, all to raise funds for our local heroes at Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club.
The laughter and excitement echoing across the school made it clear just how much our students love this event. Each year group enjoyed dedicated water play time with friends, complete with water guns, sponge relays, cup relays and the always-popular “teacher drenching” as huge buckets of water were tipped over some very brave staff members! And of course, the highlight for many… more than 600 water balloons per year group. Ready, aim, throw!
A big thank you goes to our amazing parents and staff who kept everyone fuelled with a delicious sausage sizzle after all the fun.
All proceeds from the day go directly to Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club as a small token of our appreciation for their ongoing service to both the local community and our school community.
What a joyful day of fun, teamwork and giving back!
