A Day of Fun and Friendship in the Sun
Our Early Years children had a fantastic time at our Sports Carnival at the end of Term 3. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine and a cheerful atmosphere as the day began with the Health Hustle song. It was a wonderful sight to see the children warming up their bodies while enjoying a fun sing and dance together.
We were so impressed by everyone’s enthusiasm and willingness to have a go with each child giving their best effort. It was heartwarming to witness the children encouraging one another, cheering on their friends and having fun.
The group activities brought plenty of smiles and laughter, with favourites including the egg and spoon race, the dress-up relay and balancing bean bags. The sprints were a highlight, with children running as fast as their little legs could carry them – proudly wearing their ribbons for all to see.
A big thank you to Mrs Grimes and Mrs Stewart for all their hard work in organising the day and to our Year 6 helpers who supported us with such enthusiasm and care. We truly appreciate your help in making the carnival such a success.
