Faith in Action: Christian Leaders Summit 2026

In Week 8, we had the privilege of taking 16 students from Northshore to the Christian Leaders Summit, joining with other SCEA schools for a powerful and encouraging day together.

The day began with worship, highlighted by our own Tawana serving on the drums – an awesome moment to see one of our students using their gifts to lead others.

Even before the day officially began, we saw faith in action. On the bus, we spent time talking about the day ahead and praying together. The bus driver noticed, and as we got off, she asked if we could pray for her. She shared that her daughter is in Iran, unwell, and unable to access the help she needs. Our students gathered around and prayed – an incredible moment to live out our faith from the very start.

Students were encouraged and inspired through the Word, including hearing from a Year 12 student from Kennedy Baptist College who is reaching many for Jesus in her school. Her boldness challenged and inspired our students to step out in their own contexts.

Throughout the day, students prayed with others across schools – sharing encouragement, speaking life and building each other up in faith. There was also time to connect, collaborate and dream about what God could do in their own schools, generating real vision and excitement.

A truly great day filled with joy, faith and hope – and one we believe will have a lasting impact.
