Year 5 Excursion – Caversham Wildlife Park

Have you ever wondered, "Why did God make animals so unique, and what is the purpose of each structural, physiological and behavioural adaption?"

This is precisely the question our Year 5 students have been discussing as part of their inquiry, which focused on investigating the different types of animal adaptations.

Hooves, beaks, claws or their behaviours – are all vital to keeping animals safe in their environment. We serve a magnificent God who created each animal precisely the way they should be to survive in their environment.

And there is no better place than a trip to Caversham Wildlife Park to explore the different features of the various animals!
