The Unforgettable Year 9 Camp at 'The Paddock
The Year 9 students embarked on an unforgettable adventure at ‘The Paddock’ for their annual camp from 12 to 15 September 2023. Despite challenging weather conditions, the campers’ unbeatable spirit prevailed, leaving them with cherished memories and smiles that will last a lifetime.
Kianna, one of the participating students, shared her thoughts, “The camp was good; it was full-on but fun. The teachers were really fun and kind, and they made sure we had a great time.”
Chelsea, another student, expressed her enthusiasm for the camp, saying, “I had a lot of fun at camp; it was very enjoyable. The camp hall was a fantastic setting for playing games, doing activities, and chilling out.”
Alyshia added, “The camp was very enjoyable. We got to participate in a range of activities, such as archery, The Paddock Challenge, and making our own meals on a campfire. Overall, I had a great time.”
The campfire cooking sessions allowed students to bond over the shared experience of preparing meals together, fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. Archery and The Paddock Challenge allowed students to challenge themselves and discover hidden talents.
